Pioneer Middle School

Teachers may refer students to receive academic support who are struggling with motivational or conceptual challenges to learning key concepts. Students who are referred are progressively offered voluntary homework help, conferencing, progress reports, mandatory homework help, improvement contracts, daily mandatory lunch homework help, and Student Study Team Meetings. The goal of creating a Pyramid of Interventions at Pioneer is to offer academic support to our students who are falling behind due to motivational or other factors, and create a climate where failure is not an option that is endured on campus.
